Ndidi “Sad” After Leicester’s Friendly Defeat To Wolves

Nigeria midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is not happy after Leicester City's 1-0 loss to Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers in a pre-season at Molineux on Saturday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

Ndidi made a return to Leicester first team after missing their friendly game against MK Dons which ended 0-0 on Friday.

Nigerian teammate Ahmed Musa was not listed for the game against Wolves after sitting on the bench against MK Dons on Friday.

An Ivan Cavaliero 60th minute goal was enough to earn Wolves the victory against the Foxes.

"We are quite sad," Ndidi told Leicester City TV.

"Though it's just pre-season, we have to work towards our mistakes and it could only get better."

The former Genk star went on to applaud Leicester City's pre-season so far.

He added: " It's been great. A couple of training sessions. And like I said before we will look at some mistakes and prepare for the coming season."

Leicester City's next pre-season friendly game is agai Championship club Burton Albion on Tuesday.
