Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi says joining Leicester City will help him improve as a footballer.
Ndidi was officially unveiled as a Leicester City player on Thursday after completing a £15m move from Belgian top side Genk.
Ndidi also had his first training session with his new teammates on Thursday and could make his debut in Saturday's FA Cup third round tie away to Everton.
Ndidi described his first training session with Leicester as a wonderful experience.
“I feel good. My team-mates are nice people and they have welcomed me, so I’m happy,” Ndidi told Leicester City's official website.
“My first impression was ‘wow’. I trained and it was really good because it was really high intensity. I feel I can learn a lot here.
“Claudio (Ranieri) welcomed me and then he explained to me how the team and everything worked, which I’ve sometimes seen on TV.”
Ndidi added: “I want to just try and understand how the game flows in the Premier League and then work towards that.
“For now, I am the kind of player that plays for the team. I try to win the balls for the team – that is one of my main attributes. I hope to achieve a lot here.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
