Former England and Manchester United great, Gary Neville, has berated Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger, for his midfield choice of Alex Iwobi, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Mesut Ozil after The Gunners were went down 3-1 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Arsenal's title hopes was dimmed following the defeat. It was their second straight defeat in a week following 2-1 loss to Watford in the midweek.
After conceding the second goal against Chelsea, Wenger brought on Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck then drafted Iwobi, Chamberlain and Ozil into the midfield.
But Neville who won the Premier League title, FA Cup, League Cup and the UEFA Champions League with United posited that such midfield combination will never win any major title for Arsenal.
"Let me throw Arsenal’s midfield at you. Oxlade-Chamberlain, Iwobi, Ozil. How can you win title with that?," Neville said as a pundit on Sky Sports.
Arsenal will look to bounce back from from their latest setback when they face Hull City next weekend.
