The 30 players are made up of 22 home-based and eight overseas-based and are expected to report to camp on Wednesday in Abuja before they fly to Port Harcourt where they will play Equatorial Guinea.
Those invited from Europe and the United States of America include Onome Ebi, Francesca Ordega, Faith Ikidi, Desire Oparanozie, Asisat Oshoala, Evelyn Nwabuoku and Sarah Michael.
Returnee goalkeeper Oluehi Totchukwu leads the home-based players that include Boboleyefa Whyte, Christy Ohieriaku and USA-bound duo Chukwunonye Josephine and Ngozi Okobi, as well as Ohale Osinachi, Osas Igbinovia and Yetunde Adeboyejo, Loveth Ayila and Chisom Henry, Sarah Nnodim Halimat AyInde and Mariam Ibrahim.
Interim coach Christopher Danjuma told completesportsnigeria.com that the dropping of coach Edwin Okon from the team will not in any way affect the Super Falcons as he knows all the players well as assistant to the dropped coach.
"I know it is a bIg task that has been bestowed on me and my assistants and by the grace of God, we shall conquer. We are going to face them squarely and get the result that will make the return a mere formality," he stated.
