NIKE lived up to its promises to provide new kits for Super Eagles at the on-going Orange African Nation Championship as new sets of jerseys and training materials arrived at the team's’ Hill View base in Kigali on Wednesday.
Non-availability of extra kits had led to concerns about Nike’s readiness to keep its part of the contract with the Nigeria Football Federation, but the body has moved to remain Nigeria's kitting company by supplying new sets of kits to Super Eagles ahead of Friday’s clash with the Carthage Eagles.
“The new kits have arrived in our camp today and that is a welcome development by all indications," an NFF official here
in Kigali told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“Nike lived up to their promises by supplying us with new sets of match kits and that is a good news for us here at a time we are playing our next game against Tunisia.
“This will enable us to have options and we can now focus on our next game against Tunisia
“The NFF is happy with Nike for their timely response and we do hope our relationship will remain intact.”
