–Does Vincent Enyeama Or Ahmed Musa deserve this 2014 CAF Award?
The Confederation of African Football have released a list of 25 players in contention for the 2014 African Player of the Year prize.
Two Super Eagles players who shone for the Nigerian national team as well as their European clubs in the time under review; Vincent Enyeama (Lille FC of France) and Ahmed Musa (CSKA Moscow of Russia) are amongst the gladiators for the CAF award.
Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick, has backed either of the two Eagles star to win the award despite the fact that Manchester City and Ivory Coast superstar midfielder Yaya Toure remains the favourite to win.
Do you think Enyeama or Musa will beat Toure to the punch?
Do you support Pinnick’s verdict that the club and 2014 World Cup forms of Enyeama and Musa are enough for one of the Nigerian stars to be crowned the continent’s best player?
Or do you see Toure emerging the African Footballer of the Year again; after previously winning the award on three occasions. A feat only achieved thus far by Cameroon’s Samuel Etoo?
Who does the cap fit? Get into the act and ‘vote’ for your CAF Player of the Year winner. Give reasons for your choice.
