–To discuss Maigari’s future, W/Cup and Keshi’s fate
The board of the Nigeria Football Federation will meet on Thursday in Abuja to discuss the way forward for the game in Nigeria, Complete Sports have reliably gathered.
It was revealed that top of the issues to be discussed is the contract of Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi.
Also, the board is expected to deliberate on the future of president of the NFF Aminu Maigari and decide if the current board will resign before the election which comes up in August.
Confirming the meeting of the board on Thursday is the spokesperson of the NFF Demola Olajire.
According to Olajire, a lot of issues affecting the game will be discussed and at the end of the meeting, Nigerians will be abreast of what was discussed.
“On Thursday, the NFF board will meet where they will discuss happenings in Nigeria football. And at the end, Nigerians will get to know what they must have discussed and what they arrive at.”
