Nigeria name Salisu, Shorunmu as Keshi’s assistant

The Nigerian Football Federation have confirmed the rumoured sacking of Daniel Amokachi from the technical crewof the Super Eagles.
The former Nigeria forward, who served as Keshi's chief assistant for three years, hgas been excluded from the list of technical staff for next month’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Chad in Kaduna.
Amokachi has been replaced by former Kano Pillars coach Salisu Yusuf.
Goalkeeper trainer Ike Shorunmu retains his job in Keshi’s second stint as coach while a second assistant is yet to be named with former Flying Eagles coach John Obuh being heavily tipped for the job.
The NFF however also retained the backroom staff that worked with the team during the last international friendly against South Africa in Nelspruit.
The technical crew are expected to report at the Bolton Hotel Apartments, Wuse, Abuja on Tuesday, 19th May, 2015.
