General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation, Musa Amadu has confirmed that the Super Eagles will play two friendly matches in the month of March, but has refused to disclose the oppositions.
The Super Eagles have been idle, after failing to make the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, but a predominantly home based squad faced Cote D’ Ivoire and Yemen in two international friendlies in the United Arab emirates in January.
And with the qualifiers for the 2017 AFCON set to begin in June, Amadu says they have reached an advanced stage of negotiation with two countries.
“We have started with the friendly matches against Cote D’ Ivoire and Yemen in the United Arab Emirates and I can tell you that discussions are ongoing with two other countries about two friendly matches in March.
“I cannot disclose to you now the countries we are discussing with until we are through with this process but I can tell you that we will play two friendly matches in the month of March.”
The process for qualifying to the next edition of the Africa Cup of Nations starts in June, but there still seem to be so much uncertainty going on with the leadership of Nigerian football.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
