NFF Exco Elections For September 30 In Warri

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) elective congress will come up on September 30 in Warri, Delta State, the football family decided at an Extra-Ordinary Congress held on Saturday.

Notable observers at the congress, presided over by outgoing NFF president Aminu Maigari, are representatives of the sports minister and director general of the National Sports Commission Bolaji Ojo-Oba and Alhassan Yakmut respectively.

An electoral committee and electoral appeals committee were also inaugurated as earlier notified on the meeting’s agenda and in line with world football governing body FIFA’s recommendation.

Meanwhile, NFF secretary Amadu Musa told reporters that Saturday’s extraordinary congress went ahead despite rumours that a court injunction has been passed to stop it from taking place because the Federation was not served such an order.
