NFF Invite Applications For Falcons, Other National Teams Coaching Positions

The Nigeria Football Federation have announced vacancies for 18 coaching positions, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

Topping the list of vacancies announced is the post of the Super Falcons coach which was previously held by Florence Omagbemi.


Omagbemi led the Super Falcons to win an eighth African title in Cameroon in 2016 and also became the second p after Uche Eucharia to win the Africa Women's Cup of Nations as a player and coach.

Other vacant positions according to an NFF media statement are the head coaches for the U-17, U-20 and U-23 teams for both the men and women.

Also vacant are the positions for the assistant coaches and the goalkeeper trainers.

The release also stated that all applicants must possess a minimum of CAF C Coaching License Certificate and must have a vast knowledge of the Nigeria Football League (men and women categories).


"They also must have been involved in coaching in any of the divisions in the leagues in the country and must be ready to undertake written, oral and possibly practical interview sessions," the NFF added in the press release.

"Coaches who have served with any of the National Teams are still eligible to apply.

"Applicants who are former players have added advantage."
