The Nigeria Football Federation have announced that they will be giving out an autographed “hand glove” of Vincent Enyeama as part of his 100th cap celebrations in Uyo, when the Super Eagles face Bolivia on March 26th.
Enyeama who made his competitive debut for the three time African champions in 2002, will join former skipper Joseph Yobo as the only two Nigerians to have achieved such a feat.
“We will be giving out an autographed “hand glove” of V. Enyeama as part of his 100th cap celebrations in Uyo, on 26th March.”
“To win the “hand glove” caption any picture of ENYEAMA saving a ball and tweet @NGSuperEagles with the hash tag – #Enyeama100th. The individual with the highest retweet will win the hand glove #Enyeama100th,” a tweet from the NFF’s official handle revealed.
It will be recalled that in 2013, Enyeama came close to equaling Gaëtan Huard’s overall record of 1,176 minutes without conceding a goal in Ligue 1, when he conceded his first goal after 1,062 minutes.
The former Hapoel tel Aviv was beaten by Landry N’Guémo’s deflected strike, after he had kept 11 consecutive clean sheets last season.
So far this season, the 32 year old shot stopper has kept 11 clean sheets in goal, conceding 24 goals in 28 Ligue 1 games for Lille and has won ten major titles since.
