NFF Urges Flying Eagles To Beat Burundi In Bujumbura

Nigeria Football Federation's Technical Committee boss, Chris Green says the Glass House expects nothing short of victory from the nation's U-20 Flying Eagles who will take on Burundi in a CAF U-20 African Cup of Nations qualifier Saturday, in far away Bujumbura, reports.


The Coach Emmanuel Amuneke led side arrived in Burundi on Thursday afternoon and has since settled down for the crucial away match.


Green in a brief interview with said the federation has done everything necessary to prepare the team for the match.


"The team has been in camp for some days now training for the match and for the period they have spent in camp, we can all see what the coaches have done to prepare the players for the match. So I don’t expect anything short of victory from the players," Chris Green tells‎


“The results of friendly matches played have been very encouraging and we expect them to do more in the match.


"If they are able to win the match in Burundi as we all expect, then the second leg match will not be problem to them here."
