NFF Warns Enyeama Over Kaduna Comments

NFF Warns Enyeama Over Kaduna Comments

—Eagles Captain Apologises

By Richard Jideaka

Super Eagles skipper and goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has fallen victim of the team's new code of conduct as he was cautioned by the Nigeria Football Federation over the unsavoury comments he made before the AFCON qualifying match against Chad last week.

Completesportsnigeria.com  gathered that the NFF were irked by comments credited to Enyeama kicking against the Kaduna as choice of Super Eagles home matches and subsequently queried the Lille goalkeeper.

Enyeama responded to the query by apologising to the NFF and promising that he regretted his statement and will never repeat such again.

The NFF accepted his apology and cautioned the veteran goalkeeper and warned that this should serve as a deterrent to other players in the Super Eagles squad.
