Nigeria paid back Gabon for the humiliation they suffered in Libreville by thrashing them 5-0 in Calabar to qualify for the Africa U17 Championship next year in Niger.
The Eaglets lost the first encounter 2-1 to qualify for Niger 2015 on a 6-2 aggregate.
The Eaglets, who were harassed by their Gabonese hosts in the first leg qualifier on account of the outbreak of the dreaded Ebola Virus Disease, led 3-0 by the interval.
Skipper Kelechi Nwakali scored from the penalty spot and Ebere Osinachi lived up to his pre-match boast with a brace in the first half, before Kehinde Ayinde also scored a double in the second half.
The world champions will now join seven other countries including hosts Niger in the African Junior Championship in February.
