Nigeria's Senate President Bukola Saraki is rooting for the Olympic Eagles bring home the gold medal after they booked a place in the semi-finals of the men's football tournament of 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
The former Kwara State governor was thrilled by the brilliant display from Samson Siasia's team who saw off Denmark in the quarter-finals with two breathtaking goals from Mikel Obi and Aminu Umar.
Saraki wrote via his Twitter handle: "Superb game yesterday by DreamTeam VI against Denmark.
"Looking forward to Semi-finals and the boys bringing the #gold home #Rio2016 #Olympics."
The Dream Team face Germany in the semi-finals on Wednesday in Sau Paulo.
The Nigeria men's football team last won gold 20 years ago at the Atlanta 1996 Olympic games in US under the tutelage of Dutchman, Jo Bonfrere and were losing finalists at the Beijing Olympics in 2008 with Samson Siasia in charge.
