Nigerian Striker Afolabi Agrees Terms For Switch To Ismaily From Jimma

Nigeria forward, Okiki Afolabi has agreed terms with Egyptian club, Ismaily ahead of a proposed transfer from newly crowned Ethiopian champions, Jimma Aba Jifar, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Okiki, 23, scored 23 goals to help Jimma Aba Jifar win
their first-ever league title.

The striker who once featured for Nigeria Professional Football League outfit, Sunshine Stars also picked the top scorer and the most valuable player awards in the Ethiopian League.

Okiki, according to a report in Egytian online news outlet, Kingfut.com, will now become Ismaily’s ninth summer signing after deals for Selim Abdel-Khalik, Lassad Jaziri , Christopher Mendouga, Omar Fathi , Essam El-Hadary , Tarek Taha, Mohamed El-Shamy and Mohamed Magdy .

The Yellow Dragons have a lost a number of their key players, including Diego Calderon, Ibrahim Hassan, Mohamed Fathi, Bahaa Magdy , and Mohamed Awad .

Ismaily finished in second position in the 2017/2018 Egyptian Premier League season and will play in the CAF Champions League next year.
