Nigerian striker Okiki Afolabi has been fined by the Ethiopian Football Federation after presenting a fake document during his transfer to Egyptian Premier League club Ismaily.
Ismaily recently signed former Sunshine Stars player from Ethiopian champions, Jimma Aba Jifar.
The 23-year-old striker scored 23 goals to finish as Ethiopian league’s top scorer as Jimma Aba Jifar won the title on goal difference.
According to a report in Kingfut.com the Nigerian forward, who presented a fake document during his transfer to Egyptian side Ismaily SC , is awaiting a FIFA transfer ban after the EFF Disciplinary Committee filed a complaint to world football governing body.
Jimaa Aba Jifar also condemned the act of the player and inquired at the EFF Discipline Committee about fining the player.
An apology to the EFF and the Ethiopian club by Afolabi could minimize FIFA’s potential sanction, according to the report.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
