Former Super Falcons striker Perpetua Nkwocha will get married to Ernest Ikechukwu Nwufoh next week, the Nigeria Football Federation have annouinced.
According to thenff.com, the marriage comes up on Monday, 28 March 2016, at Our Lady Carmel Catholic Church, Owerri Imo State.
Nkwocha, 40, is currently an assistant coach of the Super Falcons who are preparing for the qualifiers for this year's Africa Women Cup of Nations.
The former Sunnana SK of Sweden player participated in seven AFCONS in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014, emerging champion in five five of the editions (2002, 2004, 2006,2010 and 2014).
She participated in four FIFA Women's World Cup final competitions (2003, 2007, 2011 and 2015), as well as three Olympics (Sydney 2000, Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008).
Nkwocha was voted African Women's Footballer of the Year in 2004, 2005, 2010 and 2011 by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
