The Nigeria National League (NNL) on Thursday formally signed a N200 million title sponsorship deal with sports betting company Bet9ja, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The deal is for three years and the NNL will now be known as Bet9ja NNL.
“Bet9ja is a Nigerian brand and the NNL is also a Nigerian brand. It’s a win-win for all us. It will move us forward,” NNL boss and former board member of the Nigeria Football Federation Chidi Offor said.
The NNL is played in two conferences – north and south – and produces the top two teams that are promoted to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) at the end of every season.
