West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini says he has no new injury problems ahead of Saturday’s trip to Huddersfield Town. The Hammers defeated Burnley 4-2 last time out to halt a four-game winless run and they will be aiming for consecutive top-flight victories for the first time since January 2017 when they travel to the John Smith’s Stadium.
Pellegrini has confirmed there are no extra injuries to have come out of that win over the Clarets and he could decide to stick with the same starting 11 that performed so well last time out.
He said: “Any other update or news about the team? We have no problems. Not one player had any problems in that game.”
West Ham remain without Andy Carroll and Jack Wilshere although the English duo could be back in the squad for the visit of Manchester City after the international break.
Midfielder Mark Noble continues to serve his suspension after his red card against Leicester City last month, while Andriy Yarmolenko, Winston Reid and Manuel Lanzini are all long-term absentees.
Declan Rice and Grady Diangana have both been praised by the manager heading into the weekend and the young pair are expected to keep their starting spots.
