The 27-year-old was due to remain on loan at Home Park until the start of January, but his injury meant he returned to South Wales to undergo treatment.

And with O’Keefe still working his way back to full fitness, it means he will not be fit to feature until after the end of his loan spell.
Therefore, he has effectively ended his stint with the League One strugglers.
Argyle boss Derek Adams told Plymouth Live: “He’s still back at Cardiff. They wanted to keep him there for treatment.
“We would have rather he came back to us for treatment but their medical team have asked for him to be kept in Cardiff.
“It probably looks like the end of the loan spell because Cardiff want him to stay there until he has recovered from the injury. “They don’t see it happening before the end of the loan spell.”
