Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza has warned against expecting too much from returning duo Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal.
The experienced pair have been out of white-ball action due to injury but are now back in the Tigers’ ranks for three ODIs and three Twenty20s against West Indies.

Shakib returned to the Test side recently after recovering from a finger injury as Bangladesh beat the Caribbean side 2-0 in November, but Tamim was unable to play after picking up a side strain.
However, the hard-hitting left-hander scored a century in a warm-up match and is ready to go for Sunday’s 50-over opener in Mirpur.
Mortaza is glad to have the veterans back in his ranks but knows it will be tough for them to perform immediately. “Naturally the return of Shakib and Tamim is an advantage for us,” he told reporters. “It is a relief for Tamim as he played well in the practice game.
But at the same time it takes time to perform coming from injury. “You can expect that since Tamim scored a century in the practice, he will play extraordinarily tomorrow, but that might not be the case.
He might play even better or he might play badly; what I want to say is that it takes time to play your best cricket after coming from an injury. “Shakib perhaps adapted more as he played two Test matches. But it is a relief for us as both of are available.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
