The Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan will be the centre of  attention on Saturday  as two traditional rivals, Shooting Stars and Enugu Rangers, clash in a Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 35 fixture, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

The fixture has great significance for the two teams: 3SC need a win to aid their push to escape the drop, while  maximum points will also be important for Rangers' title bid.

The visitors will be without the suspended Tope Olusesi who has been handed a three- match ban for headbutting Rivers United's Bernard Ovoke in last weekend's fixture.

Imama Amapakabo's men have also failed to beat their hosts in their last five visits to Ibadan.

Second-placed Rivers United who were handed a 4-0 defeat by Rangers last weekend  have another chance to revive their title hopes when they confront South South rivals Warri Wolves in Port Harcourt.

The Pride of Rivers will be wary of the visitors who are in a desperate fight to beat the drop.

In Makurdi,  Wikki Tourists, who occupy the third position in the table, face a difficult away fixture against Nasarawa United.
Defeat in the clash will further put a question mark on the Bauchi-based side's title credentials.
The hosts also need to win the tie to increase their chances of picking a continental ticket.
Champions Enyimba will be the guests of Niger Tornadoes at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja, while FC IfeanyiUbah will seek to close the gap on the top three when they welcome Akwa United to Nnewi.
It will be a win or bust situation for MFM FC as they tackle Lobi Stars at the Agege Stadium also on Saturday.
Defeat or draw in the clash could end the Olukoya Boys' survival hopes.
Relegation battlers El-Kanemi Warriors and Heartland will also  do battle at the El-Kanemi Stadium, Maiduguri.
The hosts have won their last 11 fixtures at the venue.
In the weekend's last fixture, Sunshine Stars will entertain Plateau United at the Akure Township Stadium.
