NPFL: Enyimba Subdue IfeanyiUbah As MFM Hold Wikki In Bauchi

Enyimba halted their five-game winless run with a hard-fought 2-0 Oriental derby win against FC IfeanyiUbah in a rescheduled Nigeria Professional Football League tie on Wednesday at the UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar, reports.

Goals from Joseph Osadiaye and Mfon Udoh secured the much needed win for the Peoples Elephant who have been in poor form lately.

Osadiaye opened the scoring in the 32nd minute off an assist from Udoh.

Udoh made it 2-0 with two minutes left and secured the points for the home team.

The win takes Enyimba's points to 18 and athey re now eighth in the league table.

In another rescheduled NPFL game on Wednesday,  at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi, MFM FC secured back-to-back away draws in less than five days following their 1-1 draw against Wikki Tourist.

Wikki Tourist took the lead in the 35th minute through Shammah Tanze.

But in the 61st minute, MFM were back on level terms thanks to Stanley Okorom's equaliser.

MFM were without exciting duo Stephen Odey and Sikiru Olatunbosun.

With the draw, MFM maintain third position on the log on 21 points, with a game in hand.
