Enyimba and Heartland played out a 1-1 draw in their match day six rescheduled tie in the Nigeria Professional Football League at the Umuahia Stadium on Wednesday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
It was the first time in seven games that Heartland will score against Enyimba in an away game and the draw also ended the Peoples Elephant's hundred percent record at home in the league this season.
Enyimba took the lead in the 27th minute through the impressive Peter Onyekachi.
The winger received a gift from Heartland goalkeeper, Philip Acho, and rounded him up before slotting the ball into the net.
It took Heartland four minutes to restore parity through Ifeanyi Onuigbo who scored his second goal in two games for the Naze Millionaires.
He was left unmarked at near post and nodded the ball past Femi Thomas.
The hosts came close to regaining the lead three minutes after the break when Chima Akas struck a powerful free kick, but the shot was tipped over for a corner kick by Acho.
Heartland defended spiritedly late in the game to earn a share of the spoils.
At the Akure Township Stadium, Okiki Afolabi scored brace as Sunshine Stars hammered Nasarawa United 3-0 in a rescheduled match day seven fixture.
It was Sunshine's first win against the Solid Miners in their last four games.
Afolabi joined Niger Tornadoes' Ismaila Gata, Ibrahim Mustapha of El-kanemi Warriors and Anthony Okpotu of Lobi Stars on top of the scorers chart with seven goals.
The former Sunshine Stars forward converted from the spot in the 34th minute after he was felled in the box.
Samad Quadri doubled the hosts' lead in the 51st minute with a flying header.
Afolabi scored his second of the day in the 59th minute.
He was however sent-off in the 66th minute following dangerous tackle on an opponent.
In what was supposed to be the third match on the day, Giwa FC did not turn up in Abuja to complete their abandoned match against Enugu Rangers.
Rangers were leading 1-0 in Jos when Giwa abandoned the match and the League Management Company ordered that the match be completed in Abuja.
However, the LMC are yet to make a pronouncement regarding what decision will be taken against Giwa.
