Rivers United top the standings with 56 points, five more than their hosts who sit in the fourth position.

The Pride of Rivers have struggled on the road this season, picking only seven points on their travels and they have also failed to register a goal in their nine away games so far.

Stanley Eguma will also hope his charges will avoid a repeat of the 4-0 hammering they suffered in their last away fixture against Enugu Rangers.

As for the hosts Wikki Tourists, they have failed to record a win in their last three games and a repeat of that poor run will certainly put paid to their ambition of winning a first league title.

At the 'Cathedral' Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, Enugu, second placed Rangers will be out to secure maximum points against visitors, Sunshine Stars.

A win against the Owena Waves and defeat to Rivers United will see Imama Amapakabo's men return to the summit.

The Flying Antelopes must however be wary of their ambitious guests who are determined to mount a late title pressure.

In Makurdi, continental hopefuls, Lobi Stars and FC IfeanyiUbah will slug it out. Only four points separates the two sides in the table with FC IfeanyiUbah sitting in third position and the home side in sixth place.

Champions Enyimba will host MFM FC in Port Harcourt.

The Peoples Elephant are out of the title race but need a win to boost their chances of picking a continental ticket, while the visitors must avoid defeat to aid their relegation fight.

The Warri City Stadium will host the clash between relegation battlers, Warri Wolves and Shooting Stars.
3SC's players have shunned training all week and it remain to be seen if they will be able to give their best in the game.

In another match-day 36 fixture, Abia Warriors will seek an end to their barren run and revive their survival hopes when they do battle with Nasarawa United at the Umuahia Township Stadium.

Abdullahi Biffo's men are without a win in their last six games.

In-form Ikorodu United will face Plateau United at the Rwang Pam Stadium, Jos determined to maintain their five games unbeaten streak.
