Super Eagles forward Obinna Nsofor plans to revive his career in Spain following the expiration of his contract at Russian club Locomotiv Moscow this month,reports African football website.
The 27-year-old Nsofor,according to the website is now mulling a move to Spain as a free agent after his contract with ‘The Railway Men’ lapsed recently.
“Obinna’s contract at Locomotiv has ended, it ended this month (December),” said a source close to the player.
“Besides the injuries he suffered while at the club, he also had to endure the intrigues involving the technical director at the club who always wanted to work with only the players he signed and Obi was not one of them.”
Nsofor joined Locomotiv in 2011 and he now wishes to have another shot at the Spanish La Liga, where he enjoined a fine run with Malaga in the 2009/10 season.
He scored four goals in 26 appearances at Malaga.
