Nuno Could Name Record-Breaking Side

Wolves could set a new Premier League record against Crystal Palace by fielding an unchanged line-up in their opening eight matches. Nuno Espirito Santo has kept faith with the same XI for all seven games so far and he’s tipped to retain the same line-up again when his side travel to Palace on Saturday.

Winger Helder Costa is a slight doubt after he came off with a knock in the win over Southampton last weekend but is expected to be fit.

Nuno’s side have impressed on their return to the top flight and sit ninth in the table, with 12 points, but the Wolves boss believes they face a tough test at Selhurst Park.

Wilfried Zaha remains the Eagles’ main attacking threat although Nuno said it was silly to just try and focus on stopping the Ivory Coast international.

He said: “All the players of Crystal Palace have quality: Zaha, (Andros) Townsend, (Cheikhou) Kouyate, (Mamadou) Sakho, (Wayne) Hennessey.

“We cannot look at the team as just an individual, it would be a big mistake. We know the strengths but at the same time we know the weaknesses.

“I only look at all the squad, I know and have passed information to the players that we are going to find a very good team, full of quality, a good manager and a tough environment.

“We must be ready for everything. We go prepared and ready to compete.
