Obaje Happy To See Plateau United Back To Winning Ways

By Adeboye Amosu:                            Plateau United forward Joshua Obaje is relieved to see the team end their three games barren run in the Nigeria Professional Football League following Wednesday’s 2-1 home win against hard fighting Yobe Desert Stars, reports Completesportsnigeria. com.

The Nigeria Professional Football League champions have struggled to get going this season following an impressive campaign last term which saw them win the title for the first time.

Wednesday’s hard earned win saw them move from 10th to fourth position in the table.

“It’s a massive win for us. Going three games in the league without  a win is not good for our pedigree as champions and we are happy we were able to beat Yobe Desert Stars,” he told Completesportsnigeria. com.

“Our target is to win the title once again and it is something that is achievable if you look at where we are in the table.

“The good thing is that we have a large squad with a lot of quality players. We will keep pushing hard and not relent in our efforts.”

Next in line for the Jos Club is the match day 15 fixture against Wikki Tourists next week Wednesday at the New Jos Stadium
