FC Ifeanyiubah new boy Godwin Obaje has ruled himself out of Sunday's Nigeria Professional Football League clash against his former club Wikki Tourists, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The 19-year-old penned a lucrative three-year contract with the Anambra Warriors on Friday after failing to secure a move abroad.
"I have not resumed training yet with FC Ifeanyiubah," the forward who was top scorer in the NPFL with 18 goals last season told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"I will hopefully start training with the team next week after they return from Sunday's game in Bauchi.
"It would have been difficult to face Wikki Tourists as I still love the club so much but as a professional, there is nothing you can do about it."
