Former Flying Eagles gaffer, John Obyh has been linked to Kwara United as the Harmony Boys plan a quick dash back to the elite league next season.
The Ilorin side found the Nigerian top flight too hot to cope with last term, leading to their eventual relegation to the second tier domestic football league, Nigeria National League, NNL.
But in a bold move to return the club to the top league, Kwara State Government appointed former Chairman of the club, Thompson Oladimeji to steer the ship of the club.
"We're still in the market for a coach with the prerequisite experience and technical ability to deliver," Oladimeji told Completesportsnigeria.com on Wednesday.
"I've been here before, as chairman of the club and if the owners of the club deem it right for me to come back, who am I to say no.
"I'm used to the terrain, the last time I was in charge, the club returned to the Premier League and now that have recalled me, I can work with anybody to bring success.
"Yes, we have held talks with (John) Obuh but nothing is yet decided.
"I worked with him before, and will be willing to do that again if he accepts to be part of us.
"Yo never can tell, this is transfer period, so rumours of players and coaches movement are everywhere. Until it is confirmed, this player or coach has not signed any contract papers.
"Until such a time, every other thing is speculation," Oladimeji said.
