Enyimba goalkeeper Moses Ocheje is in cloud nine following his side's impressive Glo Premier League win against fierce rivals Heartland on Wednesday.
The Peoples Elephant secured a hard fought 2-0 victory against their guests, a result which saw them climb to the top of the log, at least for twenty four hours pending the outcome of Thursday's games.
Ocheje who missed the game due to injury told completesportsnigeria.com that the win will serve as a morale booster for the Aba giants in their quest for a record seventh domestic title.
"I'm happy we won the game," begins the former Sunshine Stars goalie.
"They (Heartland) really pushed us hard but we showed our quality by scoring two good goals against them.
"Our target is to win the league. The season is still far but wins like this are crucial to prepare us for the task ahead."
Enyimba next face 3SC in Ibadan on Sunday.Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved. The information contained in Completesports.com may not be published, broadcast, rewritten, or redistributed without the prior written authority of Completesports.com.
