Nigerian free agent, Osaze Odemwingie, has stated that he is eager to start playing again after he was released by Stoke City in the summer.
Odemwingie’s last team was Bristol City whom he joined on loan last season from the Potters.
In an interview on Sky Sports on Sunday, the former Super Eagles forward says he believes he still has what it takes to contribute to any team.
“I’m a free agent for the first time in my career. It’s been a quiet summer,” Odemwingie, 35, said.
“I’m waiting for offers to come in, the priority is to stay in the country but realizing my age and I’m not a future prospect for any team that will take me on. But I’m definitely a good addition to a squad.”
Odemwingie has had spells in Belgium, Russia and England, playing for Lokomotiv Moscow, West Brom and Stoke among other clubs.
