Nigeria striker Osaze Odemwingie has signed a new deal at English Premier League club Stoke City.
The Mail reported on Thursday that the 33-year-old signed a one-year extension, with an option of a further 12 months.
Completesportsnigeria.com reported recently that Stoke fans wanted the Super Eagles striker to stay at the Britannia.
Odemwingie joined Stoke from Cardiff City on an 18-month contract at the beginning of the 2014/2015 season but his debut campaign was ruined by a knee ligament injury he suffered in late August that made him miss most of the season.
However, Stoke boss Mark Hughes has shown faith in the Nigerian by handing him a fresh deal.
