Nigerian striker Osaze Odemwingie fired blanks for Madura United who were held to a 1-1 home draw by Persija Jakarta in the Indonesian top flight on Monday.
Nigerian-born Indonesian international Gregory Nwokolo gave Madura United the lead in the 64th minute.
But five minutes later, William Pacheco equalised for Persija Jakarta to earn a share of the points for his team.
The draw took Madura United to third on 36 points in the 18-team Indonesian league table.
Odemwingie has now gone four straight games without a goal for Madura United, with his last strike coming in a 1-0 home win in July.
The former West Bromwich Albion, Cardiff and Spartak Moscow player has scored 13 goals after 19 league games. He is now second on the top scorers chart behind Bali United’s Sylvano Comvalius who has 14 goals.
