Mountain of Fire and Miracles FC striker, Stephen Odey (arrowed in photo above), admits that it was a good feeling to be part of the Super Eagles side that played two friendlies against Corsica Island and Togo because of coach Gernot Rohr, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The striker who has 15 league goals in the Nigeria Professional Football League spoke to Completesportsnigeria.com on what he considers the most interesting times of his career of late.
"I wanted to experience what it is like to work with a white coach, an Oyinbo man at the national team. I anticipated it would be a special feeling, and that was what I experienced, " Odey told Completesportsnigeria.com amid laughter.
"So you can imagine my excitement for the invitation to the national team for the friendlies in France.
"We've had some successful foreign coaches and I know coach Rohr will succeed. The defeat to South Africa recently will blow over. The team will get back to winning ways again, " Odey enthused.
The youngster was recently in Denmark where he underwent an unsuccessful trials at FC Midtjylland.
