HJK Helsinki winger, Nnamdi Oduamadi, has shifted  his focus on helping his club win the Veikkausliiga League title after they failed to lift the Finnish Cup (Suomen Cup), losing 7-6 on penalties to Seinaejoen JK last Saturday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

With four games left to play (against HIFK, IFK Mariehamn, Ilves and Seinaejoen JK), HJK Helsinki curently lead defending champions IFK Mariehamn with two points and a superior goal difference of five and must win their next three games to be crowned champions for the 28th time in their history.

HJK Helsinki last won the Veikkausliiga League title in 2014.

And Oduamadi who is still upset at the cup defeat, says a derby win over HIFK on Friday will be a good response after the shock loss.

"Right from my days in the Primavera I never lost a final so losing on penalties in the Finnish Cup was one of the lowest point in my career at Finland," Oduamadi told

Completesportsnigeria.com in a chat.

"We have to win our next three games to be crowned champions and with the mood now, that's the only option we have to atone for the Cup miss."

HJK Helsinki lead the Finnish League with 53 points from 29 matches, two points clear of their closest rivals IFK Mariehamn.‎
