HJK Helsinki winger Nnamdi Oduamadi is targeting his first ever cup win in today's Finnish Suomen Cup final against Seinaejoen,Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
HJK ran out with 3-2 win away in June when both teams clashed in the (Veikkausliiga) League this season, setting up a fierce encounter at the Ratinan Stadium.
Oduamadi, a Serie A and Serie B champion with AC Milan and Torino respectively in Italy, missed that encounter, but admits HJK are against a strong side in form.
"They are unbeaten in five games and are fourth on the league. So it's going to be a tough one, but I'm confident we will win," Oduamadi toldCompletesportsnigeria.com.
"We are focussed on winning this Cup and believe me , we won't disappoint."
Oduamadi who last scored in July in HJK's 4-2 win over PK-35 Vantaa, hopes to end his goal drought of nine games as well.
"Yes I haven't scored in a while now, but I've been doing my bits creating chances and providing assists for my teammates to score,"
"I've scored six goals and who knows? I could increase my goal haul to ten before the season ends like i set out at the start of the season."
With four games left to play in the league, HJK are currently leading the Finnish log with 53 points from 29 games, three points ahead of Mariehamn who have a game in hand.
