Ogbeche Fires Brace In Cambuur Win, Enyeama Keeps 7th Clean Sheet

Former Nigerian striker Bartholomew Ogbeche took his goal tally to seven in the Eredivisie this season when he scored a brace for his Dutch side SC Cambuur who defeated NEC Nijmegen 3-1 on Saturday.


Ogbeche who failed to score in his last three games opened scoring in the 20th minute before doubling his strike four minutes after the restart in what was his 14th game of the season.

In France, former Super Eagles skipper Vincent Enyeama kept his seventh clean sheet of the Ligue 1 season for Lille who defeated Lorient 2-0 on Saturday. He has conceded nine goals so far in 15 games.

In Israel, Bamidele Aiyenugba kept his third clean sheet of the season for Bnei Yehuda who drew goalless against Maccabi Haifa. He has conceded 21 goals so far in 14 games.

In Spain, Success Isaac did not score in Granada’s 2-1 loss to Levante Estadio Ciudad de Valencia on Saturday.
Isaac who has scored three goals so far in 15 appearances was replaced by Youssef El Arabi in the 81st minute of the defeat.

In Turkey, Godfrey Oboabona played all 90 minutes for Rizespor who spanked Trabzonspor 3-0 at the Yeni Rize Sehir stadium.It was his 15th start of the season albeit scoring one goal.

At the Eskişehir Atatürk stadium, Raheem Lawal returned to Eskisehirspor’s starting line-up but slumped to a 2-1 loss at home to Gaziantepspor. Nigerian striker John Chibuike scored the opener in the 14th minute before going into the books five minute before half time.

Raheem has made 11 appearances this term compared to Chibuike’s 14 with two goals.
