Nigeria forward, Emeka Ogbonna was voted the Most Valuable Player of the thrilling match-day 3 clash of the ongoing CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations between Nigeria and Ghana Thursday night at the Eko Atlantic Beach Lagos, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Emeka scored a brace in the nervy clash to help the Eagles seal a marginal 4-3 win and claimed a semi-final berth ahead of Egypt who also finished the campaign on six points.
The waspy forward opened the scoring for Nigeria in the third and final period that produced seven goals.
Organisers of the 2016 CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations promptly voted Ogbonna the most valuable player.
