Hapoel Beer Sheva midfielder John Ogu has arrived Nigeria ahead of the Super Eagles international friendly game against the Cranes of Uganda on Wednesday.
Ogu was not listed in the Eagles squad to last year’s FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
Ogu while writing on his Twitter page following his arrival, stated that he will be heading to Uyo on Monday morning
“Arrived Lagos Safely. Next Stop Uyo tomorrow (Monday) morning.Thank you Lord.”
The former Academica midfielder was in action in Hapoel Beer Sheva’s 3-0 win against Maccabi Petah Tikva on Saturday.
He has scored four goals in 25 appearances for the Ligat Haal side.
