Hapoel Beer Sheva midfielder John Ogu has praised the Super Eagles for their hard work grinding out a 3-0 win over Seychelles in Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup Of Nations qualifier at the Linite Stadium Victori, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Ogu who was an unused substitute in the encounter watched from the bench as goals from Ahmed Musa, Chidozie Awaziem and Odion Ighalo secured a comfortable win on a tough synthetic pitch.
“Great team performance from the boys on a strong and tough synthetic pitch.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼. Naija all the way 🇳🇬🇳🇬,” the 30 year old midfielder tweeted after the game.
Nigeria remain third in group E with three points from two games while Libya maintained their top spot after playing out a goalless draw with South Africa at the Moses Mabhida Stadium Durban on Saturday.
Nigeria will fly out of Victoria Seychelles on Sunday to Lagos and leave immediately for Monrovia where they will face Liberia in an international friendly match on Tuesday.
