Ogu: No Cause For Alarm About Eagles’ AFCON 2015

By Johnny Edward:

Nigerian midfielder John Ogu has urged the his teammates to cheer up after they played out a lethagic goalles draw away to South Arica in Cape Town on Wednesday.

The 26 year old who recently joined Hapoel Be’er Sheva on a year deal still believes the African champions can still defend their title next year in Morocco.

“Common guys we need to cheer up,” he tweeted after the game.

“It’s not over yet more games to play for.” #UPSUPEREAGLES…GOD Bless Nigeria he concluded.

The Super Eagles are currently third in group A with only one point after two games and must win their home and away games in October against Sudan to stand a chance of defending the title they won in 2013 next January in in Morocco.

Mr. John Ogu the is not to Cheer up about oh. I understand you are trying to be positive, but today we saw nothing of note from the Super Eagles.

A draw is not the worst result in the world, but Nigeria’s problems still remain. The Super Eagles continues to play a hustle and bustle style of play unable to create chances against a Mediocre South African team whose Midfield is Marshalled by Dean Furman who plays at Doncaster Rovers(English Division 3).

Nigeria cannot beat any serious team if we continue to play this style of football. NIGERIA LACK CREATIVITY IMAGINATION AND VISION. The Super Eagles simply did not do anything tangible enough to win this game vs South Africa.

Nigeria has one only 1 international game since the Super Eagles beat Ethiopia to qualify for the world Cup in November 2013. Nigeria lost to Congo, Argentina, France, United States, drew with Iran, Italy, Mexico, South africa, Greece, and Scotland.

To Win only once in 11 international games is poor. Enough of the cheap excuses
