Nigerian duo, John Ogu and Tony Nwakaeme, have expressed their delight after helping Hapoel Be'er Sheva win the Isreali Super Cup, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The duo played a key role as Be'er Sheva beat Maccabi Haifa 4-2 on Thursday night to win the trophy.
Nwakaeme scored a goal and added an assist in the encounter.
The two players took to Twitter and Instagram to celebrate their side's success.
"Number two trophy in my career. Thank God for all," Ogu wrote on his Twitter handle.
Nwaekeme, who missed out on the Best African Player award in the Isreali League last season which was won by Ogu, also gives gratitude to God for the victory.
"One goal, One assist, Super Cup champions. #God is great," he wrote on his Instagram wall.
