Ogu Sad To Miss Be’er Sheva Clash With Maccabi Today

By James Agberebi:

Nigeria and Hapoel Beer Sheva midfielder John Ogu has reiterated his sadness that he will miss today’s big away clash against second place Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Israeli Ligat Haal.

After scoring his second goal of the season in his team’s 2-1 win against Hapoel Petah Tikva, Ogu was however given a marching order which rules him out of today’s match.

The former Academica De Comibra player wrote on his Twitter page: “Still sad I will be missing this big game coming up on Monday (today) against Maccabi Tel Aviv.”

Since joining Hapoel from Portugal last year, Ogu has featured 15 times so far and has found the back of the net twice.

He is likely to return from his suspension in their next game at the weekend which is a home tie against Hapoel Ra’anana.
