Ogu Urges Beer Sheva Progress After UEL Defeat To Besiktas

Nigerian midfielder John Ogu has urged his teammates to focus on Sunday's league clash  against Hapoel Haifa following their Europa League defeat to Besiktas in the first leg round-of-32 game last Thursday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Hapoel Beer Sheva are currently leading the Israeli Ligat Al with five points.  They lost 3-1 to the Turkish champions thanks to second half goals from Atiba Hutchinson, Cenk Tosun which sealed the win for the Turkish side after 1-1 half-time scoreline

But Ogu believes the result can be overturned  in the second leg in Istanbul next Thursday.

"Heads up and think about the positives. Impossible is nothing.. Thanks to our fans for a great turn out. Focus now on Sunday in the league," he wrote via his Instagram wall.

Ogu is poised to make his 20th league appearance this season for the Yellow Canaries in the encounter.

Ogu's compatriot Anthony Nwakeame is also expected to make his 22nd league appearance of the season.
