Enyimba head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote, says his team will soon overcome their recent poor form in the NPFL.
Enyimba are currently 13th in the Nigeria Professional Football League table.
The former NPFL champions have won just one out of their latest five consecutive games, losing three and drawing one.Their last defeat was a 3-1 away loss to 10-man Kano Pillars last Sunday, their fifth of the season.
Speaking on The People's Elephant's recent poor form, Ogunbote however expressed confidence that they will bounce back in no time.
"Enyimba will bounce back," Ogunbote told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"What the team is experiencing is just a temporary setback. I believe soon Enyimba will be where they truly belong which is high in the league table."
Ahead of Enyimba's home tie against MFM FC on Sunday, Ogunbote stated that they correct all the lapses noticed in their loss to Pillars.
"We want to make amends in the areas we made mistakes in the last game. We will be looking for a turning point, so that we can return to our winning streak. That's what we are looking to achieve against MFM FC."
