Ogunjobi Hails Prime Players

Chairman of Prime Football Club, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, has paid glowing tribute to his defiant side after they showed their resilience to earn a crucial win over Warri Wolves in the Federation Cup Round of 32.

Ogunjobi hailed the improving mentality of his players and suggests they are maturing with every game they play.

Prime halted Wolvess hope of winning a double after defeating the last year’s losing finalists 4-2 on penalties.

Prime goalkeeper, Adejare Adeniyi, helped his side to the famous win stopping two Warri Wolves spot kicks at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja.

The Omoluabi Giants played their part in frustrating Wolves and sustained the pressure late in the second half and Ogunjobi was thrilled with the way his side had maintained concentration in defence throughout the 90 minutes and restricted the NPL side opportunities in front of goal.
