Okagbare Starts 100m Campaign With Tough Heat

Nigeria's sprints queen Blessing Okagbare will start from Lane 5 in tonight's 100 meters round one heat 3  as  the competition hots up in the track and field event here at the Rio 2016 Olympics. 

Three other Nigerian girls are also scheduled to run in the 100 meters. They are Gloria Asunmnu who runs in heat 2 and Madu Jennifer who is listed in heat 5. 

Okagbare is listed to run in heat 3 which is a direct clash with United States' Tori Bowie on lane 8. 
Bowie,  with seasons best of 10. 78 seconds compared the Okagbarei's 11.02 seconds, is one to watch in this race which stars at 10. 54pm ( 2.54am Saturday Nigerian time).
